To my cousin Alice (Trice) Humphrey, who was murdered on Thursday, September 14.

Your personality was so uplifting and your presence was always felt whenever you were in a room. It was always special seeing you and my cousins Jaz and Wookie back in town. I honestly can't think of any bad memories of you. The last time I saw you was during the summer, and having you and the rest of the family around for those few hours seemed so perfect. No one deserves to die the way you did. To everyone reading this, if you know someone that's in an abusive relationship, please try to help them get out of it. To my family, I love you all and the only way we'll get through this shocking death is with God, time, and each other. And to my loving cousin, Rest In Peace, I'll see you soon.
